Evil Geniuses and FURIA will face off in the ESL Pro League Season 12 North American upper bracket finals. All the numbers are on the side of Evil Geniuses, except their last official clash. Evil Geniuses has better form rankings, they are favourites of all bookmakers, they are the 3rd ranked team in the world, and they’ve won 4 out of 5 last matches. Pretty impressive stuff. Furia won just 3 out of their last 5 matches, but they are still in top 10 world rankings. Interestingly enough, both their losses came out of their last 2 matches. 0-2 vs 100 Thieves and 1-2 vs Chaos. I must mention that Furia did beat Evil Geniuses with a 2-0 a week ago. I expect Brehze and CeRq to carry Evil Geniuses again, as they were superb in their last 2 wins. In the match vs Triumph, Brehze scored an impressive 66 frags in 3 maps. Kscerato and HEN1 from Furia are carrying them hard in their matches lately and are two best individuals on Furia at the moment. However, I expect that vs Evil Geniuses, kscerato will have the best possibility to get to top of the fraggers board.

Liquid are facing 100 Thieves in the lower bracket of ESL Pro League North America and that means that the loser of this match will be will be on their way home. . The form is with Liquid here. They played 1 match against 100 Thieves in the past 30 days and they won it. They have better form ranking and are the match favourites. Liquid is in the top 10 teams in the world, while 100 Thieves could easily drop out of the top 20 in the world. However, the 100 Thieves' side have won 4 out of the last 5 matches, while Liquid have only won 3. Interestingly, 100 Thieves managed to beat FURIA 2-0 a couple days ago, whereas Liquid have recently lost to them. In the teams last clash, Twistzz was man of the match with a solid 1.17 rating and 60 kills across all 3 maps. Here, we are going with Team Liquid players. EliGE, Twistzz and Grim have a high work rate lately and are constantly among the top fraggers. However, Grim can be unstable and whilst there are matches where he shines there are also a lot more matches where he can’t connect two good maps. So, I’m going towards EliGE and his 1.13 rating and Twistzz with his 1.11 rating. I am expecting that these two experienced players can lead Team Liquid to their victory over 100 Thieves on Friday. Another Liquid underdog pick worth mentioning is NAF with his excellent 1.25 ranking performance vs solid Gen.G.
